Petersfield Town Council

Overall Health of the Organisation’s Estate

Petersfield Town Council currently owns 51 items, with a total of 8 outstanding tasks across these assets. There is 1 open issue report that remains unresolved, and no issues have been resolved in the last 30 days. This indicates a stagnation in addressing problems, which may lead to a backlog if not managed promptly.

Progress on Closing Open Issue Reports

The lack of resolution for the open issue report, combined with no recent activity in resolving issues, suggests that the council may be struggling to keep up with necessary maintenance or improvements. This could lead to increased dissatisfaction among stakeholders if issues continue to accumulate.

State of the Volunteer Base

The volunteer base appears to be quite thin, with only 3 distinct volunteers active in the last 30 days and just 1 total adopter responsible for an asset. This limited engagement raises concerns about the sustainability of care for the council’s assets, as there are 20 total followers but a lack of committed adopters indicates that community involvement may be lacking.

Suggestions

1. Increase outreach efforts to recruit more volunteers and adopters to engage the community in caring for the council’s assets.
2. Implement a regular review process to ensure that open issues are addressed promptly, possibly by allocating specific responsibilities to active volunteers.
