part 1, The initial cafe as pictured has a central planter with a separate external plant surround. This has allowed for a sheltered area between the two planters which has been designated for wildlife. Currently inhabited by a mole, frog ramps have been suggested for this area. Watch this space!
part 2, The linear planter runs along the tree line at the North of Kingston Field. Each of the Bee cafe units are bolted together to form a barrier which it is hoped will prevent vehicle incursions on to the playing field. This series of planters will be fed by a specially designed irrigation system which should be operational by next summer.
